Apex Legends tops 50M players in first month

Apex Legends made gaming history today, March 4th 2019. Respawn made the historic announcement via Twitter that the game surpassed 50 million players in just one month.

Vince Zampella made an announcement via Instagram stating “Thank you to the 50 million players that have shown up in the first month since Apex Legends launched! You have all made this something special and there’s much more to come!”

It is still well off from reaching Fortnite level, but it is well underway. From its infancy, Apex Legends immediately made a statement. On day one, Apex Legends had 2.5 million players and within 72 hours, 10 million players.
